  1. Hello everyone, I am new member and I want to take the TOEFL test in December this year. However, I am not confident with writing section and I don't know about the estimating TOEFL essays. therefore, I truly need your help. The more comments you make on my essay, the more appreciations I will give you. Thanks and regards, It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why? There is a quote said that: “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” In my opinion, that words is completely right because you can not only learn from books but also can learn from your own experience. Personally, I think these ways of learning are equally important to improving and perfecting one’s knowledge due to the following reasons. At first, it is the fact that knowledge from books is more systematic than knowledge you learn from your experience. As books are often composed by professors, scientists…or after a prolonged studying efforts of a group, an organization…so, they provide reliable materials for readers of various purposes. It is different from knowledge from your experience which is suitable for each individual one. Secondly, you can go to libraries or bookstores to find book about any kind of knowledge that you want to study or improve yourself. Otherwise, you have to study, collect, learn one by one by yourself to learn your own experience. That means information in books is more available and convernient than from experience. However, the things that you learn from the books are not always helpful for you. it is entirely different in related to knowledge from your own experience which is almost practical because it directly connects to your job or due to some reasons you have the requirement to learn it. On the other hand, knowledge from your own experience is last for a long time because it is something belong to you and absorbed to your body. Whereas, the knowledge you have learned from books is easier to lose if you do not engage it frequently. To conclude, I think both of these methods are important for improving our knowledge and make our life better. The more important thing is that you should have the desire to learn and study more, that is the key to open your successful door.
