  1. Well,,,,I am not sure that no news is good news in this case, which means any types of admission is gonna be given to the rest of guys. I think some of them is going to get rejections. (hope that is not my case...)
  2. Does anyone get rejection from USC today?
  3. There are two rejections from Cornell AEM on GC. Anyone get admitted? I am still waiting any responses from them, kind of nervous. Any ideas?
  4. Hey guys, does anyone get admitted in Wisconsin AAE program? There are some rejections on GC but no admissions too. Does it mean that the committee deny many applicants with their cut-off standard such as GRE or GPA?
  5. Hey, guys. Do you think that submitting application earlier is better than doing it around the deadline? I am so worried that I applied all right before the deadlines. Does it matter?
  6. Hi there, Cornell econ web says they care about teaching experience but is this principle also applied to AEM? I don't know it is general consideration for Cornell or only for Econ department. Does anyone have some idea on it? Thank you!
  7. So, they only consider real analysis with 1 year course?
  8. This is the course description : Advanced calculus : Introduction to the rigorous treatment of abstract mathematical analysis. Proofs in mathematics, induction, sets, cardinality; real number system, theory of convergence of 2. sequences Real analysis 1 : Functions, limits of functions, continuity and uniform continuity, sequences of functions, series of real numbers, series of functions, power series Real analysis 2 : Theory of the derivative, Taylor series, integration, partial derivatives, Implicit Function Theorem
  9. Hi there, I am wondering an issue of the math course " Real analysis" When the committee need "real analysis" as a preparation for admission, it it meaning for a year course? I took advanced calculus last quarter. Basically, it is all about "intro to real analysis" and as you know some school regard it as undergraduate level of real analysis. However, the math department has other "real analysis" course for 2 quarters with the book by "Russ". And there is no course of real-analysis in grad level, but only analysis which covers other spaces. So, my question is that.... when the committee refer "Real analysis", is it advanced calculus or undergraduate level of real analysis for 1 semester or 1 year series for Real analysis? Thank you!
  10. Thank you again, I have one more question. If I got bad grade on this fall and does not want to report it then, is it ok not send it to them? I mean ... they officially ask me to report it?
  11. Thank you for ur saying. BTW, most school would accept the up-date information w/ or w/o some fee, right? cuz some schools officially say they don't accept any information after deadline. Do u know which school can accept it?
  12. Hi, I am in one of the UC schools which has quarter system. Because of it, I cannot report this fall quarter grade since usually the letter grades can be checked after the application deadlines. In this case, I am wondering whether the admission committee would need me to report the grade in fall quarter or they regard it. Does anybody have some idea?
  13. Thank you, Do you think I am competitive for Berkeley ARE?
