  1. Hi, I got a 300 on the GRE, 2.4 GPA for my under grad and 3.3 for my grad. I got an electrical engineering degree. I want to apply for a PhD program for Industrial Engineering. Any suggestions?
  2. I got the answer: Boys/Girls = 5/13 or Boys/Girls = 5x / 13x ----> EQ 1 Girls = Boys + 72 ----> EQ 2 Plug EQ 1 in EQ 2 BOYS = 5X GIRLS = 13 X 13X = 5X + 72 8X = 72 X = 9 SO BOYS = 5 X BOYS = 5 * 9 BOYS = 45 ANSWER IS C

    Please solve this!

    Hi, Translate into math: B - 5 = 3 [A - 5] ----> EQ 1 B - 10 = 1/2 [C - 10] ----> EQ 2 SIMPLIFY EQ 1: B - 5 = 3A - 15 B = 3A - 10 ---- > EQ 3 PLUG EQ 3 IN EQ 2 3A - 10 - 10 = 1/2 [C - 10] SIMPLIFY 3A - 20 = C/2 - 5 3A = C/2 - 5 + 20 3A = C/2 + 15 A = C/(2*3) + (15/3) A = C/6 + 5 ANSWER IS A Let me know if this is the correct answer :) Thanks,
  5. Hi, I made the same mistake. I did .35 of 26 = 9.1 but still can't understand where you got the assumption from (that 65%)? thank you for your help..
