Yep, I can have external funding.

Same day, but at 7:13 pm (Philadelphia time). I don't know exactly what that mail means. If a lot of people receive it, it wouldn't be too informative about the probability of being admitted off the WL. On the other hand, as they stressed out their funding problem (they only have funded offers to 50%-60% of their entering class), those who can attend the 1st year without a funded offer may have a better chance of getting in (just guessing). Hi all, I'm wondering is there is some sort of bad signaling when you decide to take an offer of admission at the last minute, ie Apr 15, 4:59pm. Or more generally, the 15th. May some professor of that department think that their department was not your first choice, and hence treat you differently when you joint their program? I'm asking because some of us are still awaiting to hear from the waiting lists. What do you guys think? Best

Does anyone know something about the UCLA waiting list? It was supposed that they expect to have any news by yesterday. As far as I know, there have been movements in the list (sample size N=1): a friend of mine was officially rejected off the waiting list on late March.
