  2. Thanks RonSwanson, Actually this is what I had in mind on the first place. On the other hand, I'm trying to ponder (and given my profile) whether is worthed for me to apply to 3 to 5 programs in the top 10 (or even in the top 20) (considering that requieres dedication, which is time and a significant amount of money)

Dear all, I would like you to help me evaluate my profile and help me decide the schools I should apply to (Econ PhD): Type of Undergrad: BA Statistics (GPA = 3.2) + BS Actuarial Sciences (GPA = 3.75) – Public Spanish University Diploma of Research Proficiency (in Actuarial Sciences) (2 years of study) GPA: top 5% - Honors / Thesis on Financial Institutions (Grade = 3.6) Type of Grad: MBA – Duke University (GPA = 3.5) GRE: V=161 Q=169 AWA = 5.5 Undergrad Math: Plenty of it (grades differ, trend is growing vividly across the time) Grad Math: Not so much in the MBA.
