Hey! i was asked about my research interests and was told that m on a waiting list and theyd get back to me as soon as someone from my *group* (as explained by GDH) rejects their offer. so basically m back to square one! so it went just fine in terms of questions i was expecting them to ask but i was really hoping theyd make an offer........ and thanks for all the help Insti :D

i got the same exact reply! and m still waiting to hear from UMass, UIC, UCR! though i already see acceptance and rejection decisions from these universities! where is mine?! :hmm:

thank you All! :-) I have mailed the school asking for more time. hopefully they'd agree to give me more time if not then like Bholly and Nalu said i can withdraw the acceptance anytime through the 15th of April. and Synthxdill I have to sign a word document stating terms of Assistantship (It doesnt have the University's logo/seal anywhere on it). i dont think signing that would be a problem in case the school does not extend the acceptance date.

heres what the letter says: Please read carefully the detailed Terms of Teaching Assistantship for the 2013-2014 Academic Year and indicate your acceptance or refusal of this offer by signing at the bottom and returning a copy of the letter to Ms. Professor no later than March 25, 2013. From what Ive understood, i think it is a hard deadline. What do you think?

unfortunately they have given me 25th March as the deadline to decide! dont know what to do now!

Hi, I have got a funded offer from the University Of Houston and I am supposed to accept/reject the offer by this week! the problem is that I am still awaiting results from other universities! can I just take the offer and than give it up if I get a better offer from some other university? would that be a correct thing to do? Help and advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys

I havent yet heard from any of the schools! dont know what to make of that! i see that some of them ( Maryland ARE, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, NCSU) have sent acceptance as well as rejections....an implicit rejection for me then? feeling lost....

I still havent heard from NCSU (Econ), Maryland (ARE)! should i take that as an implicit rejection? :(
