StayStrong and ffsmaster, thanks for the reply. What would you choose if after visiting, I find out that: 1. Stanford people are happy advising me on empirical work and would *tolerate* the behavioral part (but not give much advising) 2. Yale people are more enthusiastic about advising behavioral work? That is my impression about the research interest of the faculty at those two schools.

Dear urchers, I'm in this sweet dilemma between those two programs. Personally I'm leaning towards empirical/behavioral research, and as you know there is a strong group of behavioral people at Yale, while Stanford seems to be more theory-focused. At the same time, Stanford seems to be the stronger program overall - more (better?) faculty, very strong students. Also I would like the weather there more. Any thoughts will be highly appreciated. What would you choose if you were me?
