You need to be licensed in UK, you need to pass FPGEE , TOEFL,..... then you need to complete up to 1500 hours in internship in the USA then sit for NAPLEX and MPJE. this process will take you at least 2 years if everything lines up correctly for you. the average is about 2 or 3 years. if you have a pharmD degree from an ACPE accredited university then you don't need any extra internship hours before you can sit for your NAPLEX. if you are a foreign grad then yes you need to complete all your internship hours before you can take the naplex. thanks passRXnow.com support

Hello Helen To be able to practice as pharmacist in the USA you need the following: 1- You should already have a pharmacy degree from your country 2- register for , take, and pass the FPGEE 3- Depending on your FPGEE score you will be required to do between 500 to 1500 hour of pharmacy internship here in the USA 4- Depending on which state you want to practice in you might be required to have a green card of be a US citizen (not all states require this - so you have to check with the board of pharmacy in the state you wish to practice) 5- Once you complete your internship the board of pharmacy will issue you ATT (authorization to test) 6- You register, take, pass the NAPLEX and MPJE 7- Now you are licensed and can practice in the USA remember that laws always change so make sure to check the documentation on the NABP website this entire process can be lengthy and can take around 2 years. 1000's of foreign grads have done this. good luck passRXnow

Failing the NAPLEX is not fun but it happens. It is NOT a reflection of your competencies. Online you can find a lot of NAPLEX study materials. According to the NABP a person can retake the naplex up to five time. it is really great that you are sponsoring got H1B and reaching out on this forum. Hope you find the pharmacist you are looking for. it is rare that you find a pharmacy posting such offers. A while back it used to be easy to get an H1B for a foreign trained pharmacist but now it is becoming more difficult. Keep it up. passRXnow

Do not underestimate the other sections of the exam. Dont forget you are also under time pressure. Make sure that your studies and preparation are comprehensive and cover all aspects from of the exam as outlined in the NABP bulletin. Good luck to everyone
