  1. Ur essay is a bit too short. GRE graders recommend atleast a 400 word essay:blue::blue:
  2. The conclusion of teh business manager of the tv station to increase the time devoted to weather and local news again in order to attract more viwers and capure the losing advertising agency contracts rests on many assumptions that are not analysed scrupulously. Argument: "Over the past years, our late night tv shows have devoted incresed time to national news and local weather. durin this time we have recieved complaints from users regarding the stations coverage baout local weather. also many advertising companies have left left since the past decade. Therefore to save the adv renue from falling further and save out TRP we must decrease local weather and news back to its original state. " :panda::panda::panda::panda::panda: My essay: Firstly, the nature of complaints from the user over the past decade should be reviewed to find exactly what are their concerns regarding the channel. It is plausible to suspect that they're not satisfied with the channel's service/ quality of programmes or proper coverage. It is also not known that what was the exact cause for local businesses cancelling their contracts with the channel. possibly, they are rescheduling their contract during daytime programmes. Or the channel's rates were hiked recently. The second assumption that renders speciousness to the conclusion is that the manager assumes that what situations took place in the past will hold true for the future also. It is probable that some other channels have been launched in teh past year or programmes with a new ideas have been launhed in other channels in night time gluing most of the vieweres to them. The quality or a bad turn in a fanous programme at night time could have drawn viewers away for a tenporary time. Lastly, there can be other ways to capture the leaving ad business and to stop complaints from viwers cuch as loyalty perks. demanding less feee for advertisement, prviding better signal, free gifts etc. To sum up, Since the reasons for the adv busiess going down or the nature of compaints is not known, this conclsion is flawed and needs further speculation. This can be done by launching appropriate surveys, introduction of new schemes etc.
  3. In a nation with variety of states differing in geography, traditions, languages and monetary measures, proposing uniformity might not prove to be very plausible. Usually, the housing loans, tax laws and other national policies have nuances based on the financial and social differences. The recommendation to adopt same national cirriculum for all of its students until college has many disadvantages as well as advantages based on certain circumstances as discussed below. The uniformity of education to all children regardless of class, state will prove a boon when analysying students in terms of grades, since all will be judged on the same question set and syllabus. Hence, job opportunites and college admission will also be served equally to all. However, this recommendation is far fetched and either cannot be done because of the differences in languages in diff states or needs a lot of back- preparartion for developing the same assets in all states. The assets in different schools might be very different even for the same city, let alone a state thousands of miles away. Teachers with necessary skill sets, computers and playgrounds might be difficult for a school with little funding in developing states. Depending upon the demographics of the state, the appropriate subjects in different states might be different. For example, in India's southern states where english is the mother toungue and 70% of the state's occupation is IT related job, it is more useful to teach them English as the primary language with compauters included in the cirriculum before college. On the other hand in states like UP where 1/3 of the population is still labour class and poor, English should be chosen as a second language with subjects like agriculture, Hygeine etc.Computers can be taught in later stages depending upon interest of tht student. In different states, mothe tongues are differnt and hence no one language can be taught to all students from didfffernt states. In capital cities, which are well established, parents usully have the finiancial aid to allow their children for home tuitions or any kind of extra help. This helps students to grasp the cirriculum better in much lesser time. On the other hand, in rural areas, where childeren after reaching back home after school have to help their parents in running business/ agricukture, the cirriculum might progress in a slower pace. An appropriate cirriculum in such cases then becomes the one that takes into consideration such small but important factors in mind and is designed for the best welfare of it's children who are the next generation country's policity mkers.
