Hi everybody, as i mentioned on the title i am searching an easy phd program to complete. My undergraduate degree is in economics from an average school in asia. I have financial support from my sponsor with contract, according to contract first i have to finish masters in maximum 2 years, which i did, and then phd in maximum 5 years. After getting my degree my sponsor will provide me a job. However, in case of failure will i have to pay back all expenses that made for me(tutions, stipend, etc) to my sponsor with interest rate. I will write my qualifications in hope somebody can suggest me a safe main stream PHD program(my sponsor force me to main stream programs) that is appropriate to me(min. risk to fail at prelims or in any step along the program).My only aim is to not fall on failure and get stack with severe contract conditions, since my math background is weak.(also there is no incentive to get in high rank program) i finished masters degree in one of the heterodox schools in USA with GPA 3.72 PROFILE: Type of Undergrad: Economics Undergrad GPA: 81/100 Type of Grad: Heterodox Economics Masters Grad GPA: 3.72 GRE: Quantitative 160 (%84), Verbal 138 (8), Analytical Writing (2,5) Math Courses: Calculus1 and undergraduate level Math Econ Econ Courses (grad-level):Heterodox Macro, Micro Theory, Statistic, Econometrics Letters of Recommendation: three letters from masters' scholars Research Experience:No research experience Teaching Experience: No experience Research Interests: Development I hope somebody can give good advice.
