I stumbled across an old thread on this GRE forum and it raised some questions for me. The problem was that a group of people had a list of words that would be used on the GRE verbal portion of the test. This was cheating and it invalidated their test scores. But when companies publish flash cards for "500 essential GRE words", is it dishonest to use these cards? I heard of students studying for the LSAT who did every problem in every study guide online and offline but people have also told me that I should just take the test before studying. I want to do well on the test but how far is too far?
