  1. People continue to commit crimes even after being punished for it. Why do you think this happens? How can crime be stopped? It is an adage that it is not the man himself, but the environment in which he lives make him criminal. Although strong laws are there to stop atrocities, but the agony is that all are failing to stop recidivism. This is mainly due to the government's failure to bring convicts into mainstream and society's negative attitude towards these criminals. Firstly, there is a plethora of incidents in which many prisoners did crimes after being free from incarceration. This is mainly due to the reason that they have to go to the same environment from which they came. For example, here is a hypothetical case, if a child grows in a society which engulfed with the robbers and thieves then there is a great possibility that the child would become criminal in the upcoming future because surroundings have a huge impact on the psyche of every human. Hence criminals aversion to same bad society is a major cause of recidivism. Secondly, the government should provide the imperative infrastructure to help convicts instead of putting them on the gallows so that they can live within a mainstream. Furthermore, government should also succor the families of the criminals so that their children wouldn't fall into the same predicament. For example, India's renowned Tihar jail administration has opened a skill development alma mater within the vicinity of jail so that prisoners can find a job after completion of imprisonment. Additionally, there is also a need that civil should give up antagonism towards criminal persons. Instead of ostracizing we should help them to overcome difficulties in their lives. To conclude, the government as well as society can play a vital role to create a utopia by dealing the criminals with humane way contrary to give corporal punishments.
