Hey Guys isnt it this way: Say sep sales is X: then Oct sales is 20% increase over X i.e 1.2X = 30000 =>X=30000/1.2=25000 And similarly for 150% increase: 2.5X=30000 =>X=12000 Please correct me If my approach is wrong.

25% Profit means : 1.25 * 98 = 122.5 Now if 8% disc is allowed and still the amt comes out equal to 25% profit then: Let X be SP X*.92=122.5 =>X=122.5/.92 =>X=133.15

Hi Guys, I also belong to Delhi, but currently in Pune. From my experience I can tell u that its not worth joining any classes uless they r of real repute. I have wasted quite a lot money here till I came to know abt this Forum. I think if u can frequently access TM, SC forums nothing like it along with regular Kaplan,Princeton and [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip]. Also u can get so many other downloads here. Just stick to the advice of the real maverick guys here, Ursula,Spiderman,VinGmat, Dragon, of course the real GMAT guy Erin........to tname the few......... Its really a wonderful forum and these guys are really doing selfless job of guiding so many people like u & me...... Cheers!!!! Sandy
