Are there any Accounting PhD programs still accepting applications for Fall 2016? Thank you.

I believe that person is mistaken. I only see a DBA in accounting. Accounting & Management - Doctoral - Harvard Business School

How do the degrees differ? And the employment prospects after? Several high profile schools (most notably, Harvard) only offer the DBA in Accounting, not Ph.D.

For those of you currently or previously enrolled in a business PhD program, did your school offer incidental grading or hourly work? I found a reference to this on one PhD program's financial aid page (can't remember which), and was wondering if it's common? If so, how much did it pay?

Hello all, I'm looking for some advice on target schools and admissions chances. BSBA from top 40 public university - 2.49 GPA MBA - Accounting concentration from relatively unknown public university - 4.0 GPA M.S. Information Systems from top 25 program - 3.8 GPA GMAT - 770 Work Experience - None, aside from TA duties Coursework - Lacking upper level math beyond Calculus 1. May be able to find some online options to quickly complete a course or 2. Do I stand a chance at a PhD program? Specifically, Iowa, WUSTL, Wisconsin? Other suggestion? If I delayed my application another year, would that year be better spent pursuing a top Master of Accountancy (possibly with RA research experience) or a year of accounting work experience?
