  1. leaped: move suddenly, to make a large jump or sudden movement usually from one place to another: he leaped out of his car ran towards the house. to achieve something suddenly usually fame we use leapt he leapt to fame.
  2. I think the correct answer is "leapt" because the past form Leaped is n longer used in English also leapt is especially British English
