Anthony, Though I don't have much experience in the GRE exam, but I just want to focus on your essay. Your writing style is not bad. you've showed an understanding of the topic, and you provided concerete examples. However, like my problem you went too long in explaining the examples, and too long sentences as well. I think by correcting these small mistakes you can write a better essay. :) Thx,

@ the Viking: Do you any recommandations to improve writing and deepen vocab skills?

Frankly speaking, I did my best in practicing. I did all the exercices in the Kaplan guide book. The writing passage was tough because I did not understand at all the first integrated task. I was kinda stressed. The independent writing passage was very good, and i well dissected the topic. The reading was really a surprise to me. 2 of them were entirely technical, and i found them a little difficult. My other issue is adjectives.

What about you tbe Viking? Did you pass the exam?

Colleagues, This is to tell you how my exam was, and to seek your advise and feedback. The university i applied in was asking for 81 toefl score. I bought the Kaplan guide,though TOEFL IBT Guide book is more interesting and useful. I spent almost 2 months for review and practice. By the way my major at university isenglish literature, so I thought it would be a little easier. What confused me at the day of the exam i that I thought that there were 3 reading texts, but I had 4 long ones! The timer was running so fast, and the questions were a little difficult comparing to the text itself. I did well in the speaking writing and listening passages. My score was 79, and the university in Canada declined my application. I bought books and Cd's and i got a poor score. Please any advise for I am planning to take it for the second time, and I am determined to get 90 or 100. Thank you,and I am ready to provide you with any queries. P.S: I have evaluated myself, and i lack some skills in vocabularies .
