Hi! This is my first post and first time applying to grad schools ever. I'd appreciate any comments and suggestions. My concern is a lack of research experiences (LAC quirk) and that the math courses I'm planning to take next semester won't be on my transcript in time. As a math and econ double major, I'd say I have a quite solid academic background but not sure if this kinda profile is gonna cut it for top 11-20. Would you say top 20-40 is more realistic for this admission cycle?

Letters of Recommendation:
1. Econ PhD from UMich: my math econ/political econ professor & knows me very well. I’m also writing a math-econ/game-theory thesis with ze. Should be very strong.
2. Math PhD from UMich: my real analysis/probability/statistics professor & knows me super well from academic advising. He’ll also mention in the letter that I’ll be taking differential geometry (with ze), differential equations, and topology next semester. Should be very strong.
3. Econ PhD from NYU Stern: my intro finance professor + research advisor & thinks very positive of me plus I helped ze with data collection and analysis as an RA over the past summer. Should be fairly strong.
Research Experience: RA for one prof at my university starting last summer (quite a minor thing) + thesis on game theory/math econ this year (still working on it).
Teaching Experience: TA-ed for multivariable calculus and probability. Will be a TA for microeconomics next semester.
Research Interests: math-econ/micro theory, game theory, labor economics, not fixed.
SOP: Working on it, should be pretty standard and nothing fancy.
Other: Won departmental math prizes my freshman and sophomore year and econ prize junior year
Applying to: NYU, UMich, Cornell, JHU, WUSTL ... what should I add here?
