Looking at GC posts on Bocconi University, it seems like everyone who applies gets some kind of score. Can anyone here explain what this score means and how it is computed? Seems the only university to give quantitative feedback to PhD applicants :)

That is so surprising!! Is this common that school does not accept any student in a year, after going through the whole process of calling for applications etc. I can understand it if school has made 5-10 offers and everyone has rejected it for some other better school. But Feb 20 seems like too early a date for this to happen. So, does it mean that school had a financial crunch because of which they are not admitting anyone this year. If you don't mind, which school is this?

Just saw that markets are closed today. Will universities be also close today or admission committees might meet and decide to call someone today?

For poor souls, who don't hear this week as well, your probability of hearing for interviews going forward (especially for finance guys) is very low. Anyone heard from Emory in Finance?

Congrats! This is very interesting. It means we need to be conscious of our LinkedIn profile also. I am surprised why admissions committee will not email us, given on our application file, and rather contact us on LinkedIn.

This is really weird and special case and I empathize with you. You must be having a difficult time! Hang in there buddy!
