Hi everyone,
I have got offers from these three schools with full funding.
I'm interested in Applied micro, and more specifically Labor and IO.
How do you think these schools compare with regard to:
- Overall training?
- Placements?
- Competitive atmosphere?
From the information I gathered thus far,
it seems Brown's reputation is getting stronger due to a few recent hirings of applied people, but it seems that their placements are not very impressive.
Michigan has a strong Labor group, but might not be as strong as they used to be.
Regarding BU, besides being in Boston and the proximity to Harvard/MIT, I haven't heard any other advantages to going there.
Any thoughs would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!
