Greetings all, I would like to write something here. All the comments are warmly welcome. There is a funny thing that, in almost cigarette packets, the producers put the sentence: "Smoking is harmful for you health" or "Smoking can lead you to the diseases". In the Netherlands, they even write on the packets of the cigarettes that "Smoking is harmful for your sex life". Even though people still smoke a lot, and smoking become a serious problem for the society. Smoking not only harms the smokers but also effects people around, who do not smoke but accidentally breath smoky. That is the reason why, smoking in the public should be prevent. In some countries in Europe, they do not ban smoking in the big public places such as on the streets, on the squares etc, but they ban smoking in most of public transportation. Because, at these places, the atmosphere is wide, then it harms non-smoking people less and it does in other public places such as in the bus, or in the train. However, smoking is nothing illegal, then it is not fair if the government only protect the non-smoking people. Therefore, in some public places they make area for smoking and others for non-smoking. In my own opinions, smoking in the public places such as in the square areas, in the streets and in all other publics places should be completed banned. Firstly, it not only helps human be healthy. but also help keeping city clean. Many people used to throw the smoked cigarettes out in the streets and many others bad effect smoking people can have. Beside, the government should public very strict laws with the cigarettes producing enterprises. All the cigarettes advertisement should be banned publishing in the publics. If it is done well, in next 100 years, when all the smoking people are all died, then the world for our future generation will be more fresh. In conclusion, I think, smoking is not a nice habit that human get. If I could do something to stop people smoking completely, I would do with all my best. Anyway, I do not think that, It is possible to ban smoking in the public areas at the moments. There are so many people who know that smoking is bad for many reasons, they includes all classes, all kinds and in all countries. So should we take smoking as some of our problems, in this so many problem world?

Here is my essay, I would love to get as much as posible critics from you all. ------------- High-paying jobs long hours and short hours with lower-paying job both have their own advantages and disadvantages point. Personally, I would rather to have a job with long hours and get high-paying. It's does not make sense to me to have an easy, short hours job and get lower-paying. Firstly, a job which requires long hours normally is a difficult. If it were not difficult, the employee would not need to pay you high, you do not have to spend a lot of time working on it. Moreover, getting higher pay means getting higher responsibility. Thus, higher responsibilities ask people to work more carefully, exactly and effectively. Secondly, if you want to get promoted, to play an important role in your company short hours job do not lead you to that goal. Short hours job is more suitable for the people who just wish to work to make money for living. These groups of people do not need to pay as highly attention on their work as the other ones. So for me, in order to become a successful person, I wish to work at the high responsibility and risky job such as a stock broker or a correspondent. Then I definitely cannot choose the short and easy job. Unavoidably, high-paying job sometimes takes too much of time and friends and family are also very important. However, there are many people were already successful in both carrier and family. The point is how to do everything in plan. It would be best, if you could both work hard and then enjoy the rest time happily with your friends and family. Besides, getting high pay give you a better life then you have more money to support for you family. In a word, I think, it is better to have a long hours work and get high-pay. It is also better for the national economy, the longer hours people work the more products they make.

The previous one I mean, I am starting to learn how to write, and I find that, writing an essay is not an easy work at all :(. it's absolutely posible that even you are good at spoken English, you fail in writen parts. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. ----------------------- If I had to choose the universities, which offer many subjects classes, or the universities that just specialize in one subject, I would rather to take classes in many subjects. At the moment, being a marketing student in a university of economics, I have experienced that taking many classes in many subjects has many benefits. Firstly, taking classes in many subjects makes your studying be variety It’s easy to get bored if there’s no variety in your work. Imagine that you are studying finance in University, and you do not have other classes out of finance class, it would be hard and boring. Some other relative classes such as communication management, culture and business, physical education etc would not only help your study more interesting but also support your knowledge a lot. Secondly, once you know more than one subject you would be more flexible either at work or in life. No one can say that he will work only one kind of job during his long life, moreover no one can be sure that he will be successful in his carrier. Today maybe you are a lawyer, but tomorrow you can become politician, you never know about your future. Many American presidents were lawyers or army soldiers before joined in the politician world. Thirdly, in my personal experiences, having many lessons in many subjects help me to work more effectively and efficiently. As being a marketing student, I have to study a lot with the marketing major like principles of marketing, the marketing strategies etc. Besides, I also need to use computer skillfully, then I took classes in information subjects. Even though, culture and social science are not my main subjects, they are still very important. I will never can do marketing work well, if I do not know anything about the customer behavior, the foreign country tradition, rules etc. In conclusion, nowadays, in the so-called global knowledge economy, to work efficiently and effectively, to be more flexible at work and in life and to have more colors, to have more fun in life, it would be wise to know more than just one major subject.

If I had to choose one of these Universites, I would take classes in many subjects. Taking too many classes in many subjects in University is not absolutely wise, anyway, it is better than just focus on one subject. Students go to University to learn .to be professional in their own field, it means they expect to get higher education. So just studying one subject is far to be enough to be a professional. For instance, if one wishes to become an accountant, it is wise to study in Economics university, where he will be offered finance an accounting courses. Obviously, finance and accounting is the most important subjects for him, but besides it is also important to know more about other boost subjects like Statistic, computer skills, comunication, Information etc One of my friend who is now training his carrer in an language university told me that he had to learn not only English (his major) but also some other languages such as Spanish, French and Germany. I recall my first English lesson was very intersting. When I was 13 years old, my father sent me to an English class. I was the youngest pupil in the class. The teacher asked me to write something about my hobbies, and I wrote about my dear cat, she gave me a good mark with the comment that: "You made a good essay, it was clear and lively" I was so happy and at that moment, I thought that I was not bad at English, then naturely, English became my favourit subject at school. It was the story at the primary school, at present, teachers do not give many marks in University anymore. We only get final grades a semester, and that grade tells students how good and how hard did they work last semester. Normally, all the students expect to get good grades because with good grades they can have a good diploma after graduation, they can apply for the higher programmes easilier and further on, it is also useful to find a suitable job. However, it is not only getting good grades which encourages students to learn. If a student learnt hard just for getting a good grade he would never become an excellent student indeed. It is important to learn to achieve good grades in the University but it is more important to learn how to except the bad grades. In a letter written by Abraham Lincoln to the Headmaster of a school in which his son was studying, he wrote" In school, teach him it is far more honorable to fall than to cheat..... Teach to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him he is wrong" So I think, becoming a good person is far more important than becoming just a good grades collector. Finally, as soon as being a student, in my point of view, good grades really help to encourage student to learn, but to be successful in life, to be happy let learn and work with the sound of your heart (just have corrected some of the errors, by the way, may I ask that: we don't have edit functions here, do we? ) I going to take the Toefl test in couple of months so I am pretty excited at the moment.
