I imagined that I talk to my American friend. It was much easier than talk to RECORDER on another side. I have my own system that may help: * picture----1 sentense for each. * algorithm of complains:1.appology 2.responsibility/action (I have investigated the matter and found that.....) 3.fixing 4.make-up (to make you fill better I'll personaly check on...,bring....,deliver....) *algorithm of flow-chart:1.I would like to update you about something or progress in something.... 2.By this time-we have+past verb something has been+past verb 3.At the current time we are+verb+ing 4.When something is done, we will...... Hi, I took the exams on two different centers and on both I used a phone in private room. I can totally understand your feelings and frustration. I guess that a phone usage available in USA only and maybe not on every center.But you don't have choice,therefore you should "disconnect" from enviroment and concentrate on your exam. Believe that nothing is impossible and you will finally reach your goal Good Luck

Hi Mervat Yes, I took TSE on Feb.19. It was my third attempt. I don't want waste my time on TSE and don't try something else, therefore I applied for IELTS. I will take it in April. I believe that finally I will succeed on one of tests,either TSE or IELTS.

Hi, the exactly name of the book is Cambridge IELTS 1( or 2 or 3). I have IELTS 3. It contains four academic tests with answers. Another book that can help you is Insight into IELTS by Vanessa Jakeman and Clare McDowell ( also published by Cambridge). You can order from www.amazon.com ( I think that shipping will be expensive). If I remember well, you are from Israel. Hi, I got my 45 today, but I need 50. Tomorrow will take another one.

I'm RN too in NY. I will take 3rd TSE on February 19th. I sent application for IELTS. I have been working for one year. I speak 8 hours/day 5 days/week BUT I have problem to pass TSE.For me it would be better to work on the IELTS. I passed TOEFL but stock on TSE. I feel that I wasted time. You should decide what is better for you. Good luck

Hi, I took the test in Jan.15 in NY state. I have not got my result yet. I'm waiting for it. Continue to prepare for Feb.19 test( 3rd attempt). If I don't get 50, I will take IELTS. I sent application last week.

I am in for 11/20 too. I'll take my TSE in USA-NY,but I'm from Middle East. I think that it is not great idea to get questions 5 or 6 hours before the test(especially at 2am or 3am). Take a challenge and DO YOUR BEST. GOOD LUCK TO ALL
