hi knok, i already faxed a copy of my passport to ets. this morning, i just got a message that my problem re the tse test has been resolved. i felt quite relieved now. however, i am still waiting for my toefl result, and from there, i will see what happens.... i am praying that this mix-up will also be resolved in my toefl test. thanks for your reply. thanks for exerting effort to keep this site informative. you are not just helping out test takers (like me) on how to prepare for the exam mentally but emotionally as well through your words of encouragement and support. good luck on your future endeavors. god bless. magdi, thanks for your reply. we need people like you and knok to keep this forum. god bless. i'll post whatever happens to my toefl test. to all future testtakers, just be careful in registering yourself for the exam. i also advise that you have to have warm up by answering at least three questions similar to the questions given on the tse test before the actual exam (the three warm up questions given on the actual test are not enough). this will pace you up on the actual exam and give you rhythm, and not feel rattled.

hi! i am newly registered on this forum but i have been browsing this site since early this year. i already took tse and toefl last sept and oct, respectively. i passed tse for the first time. i owe a lot on this forum. i am still waiting for my toefl result. however, i have a big problem re these two tests. my given name was registered as my surname and my surname was registered as my given name. sounds ridiculous, right? that's bec i was not the one who registered for myself. i asked somebody else to register me online. maybe she committed the error along the way. it was my first time to take these tests so i did not recognize the problem until one of the proctors was collecting my answer sheet. she noticed it but did not do anything. she just asked me to contact ets. has anybody encountered such problem? i wish somebody will enlighten me on this matter and share what am i supposed to do. thanks a lot! i am really depressed right now. i do not want to retake these tests. i cannot afford to lose more money.
