Hi Gang,
I wrote the GMAT exam on Sunday for the third time and I managed to decrease my score from 470 to 440 (Q36, V16):hmm:. The verbal section started off with two easy SC problems followed by 2 (60 lines ) RC problems. After the 2 RC passage, I felt that I finally cracked the verbal section but appartenly not!!
Before the GMAT exam I took several practice exams. Below are my results:
Kap Diag:610
Kap 1: 530
Kap 2: 510
Kap 3:510
PR #1 630 (orginally 730, but there seems to be a glitch with the program)
PR#2 470
PR#3 570
PP#1 740
PP#2 640
As an engineer, I feel embarrased by my quant score but more so by my verbal score. I completed the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] Verbal section using a log sheet as suggested by others on the forum. RC is my weak area in the verbal section but I continued to improve to about 60% RC problem correct overall.
I want to practice the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] verbal section again, but I know or familar with all of the answers to the questions. Any suggestions on how I can improve my verbal score?
I plan to take the GMAT again next month.....
