I took the test on [21/Sep/2022] at the Shahid Beheshti University, Campus II - STN20304A center located at [Phase 3, Ekbatan complex, Amozesh Building, Ground floor, IBT room, Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran].
Unfortunately, despite the fact that it is expected to have good supervision on the accuracy of the information of the examination centers, the location AND the address (both) of the examination center, which is one of the most important issues, is unacceptably wrong!! Which is not expected and acceptable at all.
My test experience was severely negatively impacted in this regard. I had an exam at 8 am, and as advised by ETS, I tried to be there half an hour earlier. When I arrived at the exact location mentioned on the website, there was no sign of the college and the exam center! At first, I thought that I had made a mistake and read the address several times and checked the location again carefully. This was unbelievable. I received an unimaginable shock and stress, and I had no idea where to go now!
When I realized that the location was wrong, I tried to track it through the website or Google search, but unfortunately, due to the recent protests against the brutal killing of #MahsaAmini and the strictness of the regime, the internet speed was very low I couldn't find anything on the web.
I was very worried that I would miss my exam because I had no idea where to find the exam center. There were a few people around, and I asked several people, but none of them knew anything about the correct location. Finally, I found someone who knew where the exam center was.
I ran with all my might to reach the exam place before the scheduled time while I was very stressed and I wasn't even sure if I was going to the right place or not! Because ETS, which has the duty to ensure the accuracy of the information, did not care, and I have to pay the price!
With all my efforts, I finally arrived at the exam center; I had breathing problems, and stress and anxiety had even taken away my ability to speak. And I had to take the test under these conditions, and I am sure that you know this pressure and stress had an undeniable effect on my performance and ability!
I submitted my complaint, but they refused to accept responsibility considering that their mistake had clearly caused me trouble.
