  1. The following is from ETS: The Official Guide for GMAT® Review, 11th Edition does not have a set release date as of yet. We are hoping to have it available before the end of July. If you wish to purchase the 10th edition, you can find it at www.mba.com. 3. gp1974, I think it depends on your current level of preparation. I found the geometry book to be very useful as well as the number properties and word translation books. These books cover all of the topics that you need to know cold. They are more in depth than the Kaplan books and show some of the common tricks. However, a lot of the material that is covered in the books can be found on testmagic, it is just a matter of sifting through the site. In summary, if you want a very consice set of notes to review and have a few extra bucks to spend it may be worth it. I hope that helps, Best of luck.
  4. There are 800 new questions in the 11th ed of the OG. All of the questions in the 10th edition addition will appear in a quantitative and a verbal workbook that will be released in conjunction with the 11th edition. There is apparently more detailed explanations in the new books. Also, a new release of the PowerPrep software will be made available. The questions in the new software will not overlap with the questions in the in either the 10th or 11th editions. I found all of this info on the Princeton review website, I hope that the facts above are accurate. --Jax

  7. I am curious about something. 680 to 800 are all 90th percentile (or better) scores. I was reading a report on GMAT scoring, the report stated that a score was more or less a showing of the range of scores you are capable of attaining. Meaning that a score of 730 real shows you are capable of scores between 700 and 760. Does the adcom consider this when analyzing GMAT scores? I can see special consideration fo 99%tile scores but is there really that much weight given to other scores in the 90-95% range? I have a hard time understanding the difference because to me an A is an A. LOL. Any clarity would be great. Thanks.
