  1. Hi All This is Aparna.....here is the issue and i want comments on that... thanx.. 178. It is possible to pass laws that control or place limits on people's behavior, but legislation cannot reform human nature. Laws cannot change what is in people's hearts and minds. The issue at hand says that it is possible to pass laws that control or place limits on people's behavior, but legislation cannot reform human nature. I am absolutely agree with the statement. And it is also true that laws can not change what is in people's hearts and minds. It is necessary to pass some laws that control people's behavior and to run the country peacefully. There should be some laws that will control the city traffic, some bussiness laws that will help to prosper the business, some laws that will restrain people from doing crime. These laws are helpful for goverment to run the country neatly. If there are no laws then the world would be like a mess. Anybody is doing anything. And it would be very harmful for the life of the people. In a country like US, there are speed limits for driving a vehicle on every street. So generally people drive their car within that speed limit just because thay are afraid of getting cought by police and the punishment they give. It is not the law that prevent people from doing crime but it is the fear of punishment after getting cought by police. Law come into picture only when one gets cought after he does crime. So people think that there is very rare chance of getting cought especially at night then they do speeding. And nobody can prevent them for doing the same. Legislation can just pass the laws on a perticular situation but it cannot reform human nature. As I said, Law come into picture after the crime has been done and not before that. So law cannot do anything if one just wants to kill somebody but only after one kills somebody and cought after that. When a person does crime, he only thinks with his heart and not by brain. The situation around make him to do that thing and that time he cannot think what will be the consequences of that crime. When a very poor person gets hungry and he has no money to buy a bread then law can not prevent him to steal a piece of bread from a shop. Beacuse in that situation he can not think what will be the ill-effects of stealing a bread. He is totally thinking by his mind and his mind says that 'I am hungry and I want something' and that helps him to steal a bread. In sum, law can not change what is people's hearts and minds. In this world people are free to do anything and just fear of punishment after getting cought can prevent him from doing a crime. When a person commits a crime then the surrounding situation makes him to do the that and law can not change the situation of that person. Thus law can not reform human nature.
  2. Hi Shekhar I am not very good at writing but i want to tell you about your essay. Very first you haven't mentioned wether you are agree or disagree with the statement. Then you have to improve on your grammer. Some sentences are incorrect grammatically. You have given good examples, but give 2-3 more. Give examples like everyone can understand. Your mass-of-body example is quite tough. anyway try to write more essays. bye Aparna.

The pressure to achieve high grades in school seriously limits the quality of learning. An educational environment without grades would promote more genuine intellectual development. The author says that the pressure to achieve high grades in school limits the quality of learning and an educational environment without grades would promote more genuine intellectual development. I agree with statement that the pressure to achieve high grades limits the quality of learning but the environment without grades will not promote genuine intellectual development. In this world of competition, everyone tries to get better position in their respective field no matter what they do is right way or wrong way. In eduacation field, now a days there is a great compitition between students. Everyone tries to get better marks or grades by different ways. Most of the students study hard when exams are very near. The aim is only to pass the exam with high grades, so they even don't bother with the way they study. They study very rapidly just to complete the syllabus with rapid techniques to get memorized. And that way they just remember the subject for small time period until the exams get over and it is not a long time knowledge. Some students, mostly whose memory is weak, don't even take efforts to study. They just affraid of exams, their parents and teachers and they find the wrong way to overcome all this problem. They try to get exam paper before the exam by giving bribe to related people or they copy in the exam or any wrong way to just pass the exam. So here they really don't bother about study and what are side-effects of their wrong did. Only few students who are really aware of the competition in the world. Who are hard-worker and having desire to get high ranking, do study properly with better techniques. And the way they study really helps them to keep the knowledge in their memory for long time. But the educational field without grades would not help those students who don't have desire to study. The student who study only when the exams are near, now they don't even bother about study. Only there will be no effect of this educational system on the students who really wants knowledge, who is eager to get different types of knowledge and who has desire to do something different than other people. So i think there should be some pressure on students for study so that they just go through the subjects. In sum, the quality of learning depends little on the pressure to achieve high grades because it forces the student to study that subject atleast once. For more genuine intellectual development there is no need to provide the educational system without grades but it totally depends on the quality of student. The student who really understands the importance of the study or knowledge and who has great desire to achieve something in his life, study properly. But we can't to anything about students who study just for sake of their parents or whatever. If there is no pressure of study or high grades then many students willnot care about study at all. So There should be grading system but they can change the way they teach or by providing some planning of study to students for better quality of learning.
