Hi Erin. I'm planning on writing my GMAT in November 03 and i need a good study plan. I have the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip], Cliff's, KAPLAN and Arco's essay guide. Do i need to attend any GMAT classes? Also do i prepare for each section at one time or all of it together? Also, i need help with the AWA section? Are all the topics covered in the arco essay guide? If not could u plz post the topics up? Does it help in anyway, if i give my TOEFL first? kini ps: Your sight rocks!!![^]

Hi, Is it necessary to have the KAPLAN workbooks to get a really good score. Do they have any extra questions? Does the KAPLAN maths workbook have harder questions thean the nomal editions? Or is it similar to the KAPLAN 2003 edition? I have Cliff's, KAPLAN, Arco and i will by [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] too. Will i get confused by following too many books?Is it worth buying these 2 workbooks?

hey, thanx fer the tip. I've lived in chennai for about 8yrs and now in hyderabad. But i've checked in landmark and they donot have the book. But i'm trying to get them to order it. There is a book fair going on right now in hyderabad and i'm positive that i'll find it there. thanx anyways!:D

Hi, U can work out probability and permutation combination from Cliff's. It helped me a lot with my math. But if u're looking for a good math book then u should check out N.K. Nag's business maths for 12th. This was the prescribed book for us in high school, when i had math as a subject. Though, it's a high school book the problems are college level stuff and this book is great for esp for probability. But i don't know if it is available in the U.S....as it's an indian publication. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- kini

Hi Erin, The problem is i live in hyderabad (India) and the official guide is not available here. Is this book available in India? Or is anyone from India willing to sell it to me?? I can't order the book from amazon because shipping takes too long. Also which is the best software for grading essays? Where can i find it?

Hi, I was wondering if it's okey to prepare for GMAT without the official guide. I'm aiming for a high score, so is it okey to do without the guide. I have Cliff's GMAT CAT guide. I found Cliff's pretty good for TOEFL. Is this book standard? Also, i have the arco guide for AWA. I read on one of the posts that, this book isn't very reliable? If so, what would you suggest for essays. How can i grade my essays? Is there any good free software for this? Should i refer to Kaplan also?

Hi, Do we follow the american english or the british english? (For eg :- colour is spelled c-o-l-o-u-r in the british english & c-o-l-o-r in the american english). In india we follow the former. I'm really confused about this, so can you help me out? Which system applies for the TOEFL? Moved to appropriate forum by Erin.
