Hi, I just received a reject from Rutgers, New Brunswick for MS in CS....Kinda surprised bcos I got admits to Columbia and NYU... And I received the official letter from NYU that says no aid has been provided. So I decided to go for Columbia whether I get aid / not ( Still waiting for the official letter to arrive) . MY area of specialization would be either Software systems or Networking. Good luck to everyone. Bye -swethans

Hi Meraj, Even i have got the same unofficial email as you and the others got. I haven't received the official letter yet.I think it should come by this month end..Even I am eagerly waiting for that letter

hi gforce , Congrats to u too... I am still on cloud 9 bcos never expected to get into an ivy league school nor nyu. Yup,i am waiting for rutgers too.. but mostly i think i will go for columbia.i think it has a better prog for cs than nyu or rutgers,isnt it? what is ur opinion ..which do u think would be a good choice leaving the cost but considering cs program and job placements? how are u planning for aid at columbia? are u mailing the profs or something? Hi, I also got an unofficial admit from Columbia University for MS CS Fall 2005. I am eagerly waiting for the official admit. BTW does anyone know the financial sid situation in columbia.? My accepts so far: Columbia,NYU,NJIT,SJSU No rejects so far. Still waiting :Rutgers and Stevens Institute of Tech.
