  2. Hi, I am also planning for the GMAT test on August. Have not completed all those tests (as mentioned above) yet. I'd be glad to be part of this study group. Just to introduce I am 31, working full time in a software company in US. Have been studying off and on for a while, but this time I am going to commit time everyday to do it this time. I'm planning to study after work regularly from now. I'm working more on Verbal at this time, more specifically narrowed on RC. RC has been my biggest weakness. Regards, Stuti
  3. This is a real tricky one. 1> "the patient averaged only four to six hours of sleep per night, and this was determined to contribute to the patient’s condition" 2> "However, the patient was not advised to sleep more." I guess the only way we can relate both if instead of lack of sleep, more sleep is causing the trouble. In that case, C might be a better answer. I don't know how else to relate the two arguments. What you people think? What's OA?
  4. Hampton talked about technological advances in food production. It addresses one part of Kim's argument for agricultural land requirement. Hampton did not talk about greater urban area requirement and may be silently agreeing to that to an extent. For agricultural land also I guess "without significant increase" does not mean none. D sounds better to me. Am I thinking too far outside of scope?
  5. Just to double check, for the first CR, is the answer D?
  6. I am also in favour of B. The major assumption the author made is that as more and more beliefs get refined with corrective evidence "over time, one could only have fewer and fewer beliefs". B contradicts it. I'm also interested to know OA.
  7. Hello the indiangmat, simsan0129 and others, I have a request. Could you please send me the 1000 R.C and C.R materials. I am still struggling with RCs and it'd be a great favour. Please help me. Thanks, Stuti stut03@yahoo.com
  8. Thanks for the important suggestions. I have OG 10th ed. What I understood is that I should buy 11th ed. Ajaykn, is the companion verbal and quant books are duplicated from OG 11th or OG 10th ed? Thanks, Stuti
  9. Hi, It'd be great if you could share the 1000 CR and RC meterials with me. My mail id is stut03@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance, Stuti
  10. Thanks for the great suggestions. I am in urgent need of soft copies of OG materials. By the time the ordered materials come, it'll be just on the verge of the exam. Can someone please mail those to me (stut03@yahoo.com). It'll be a great help. Looks like some of the links got broken and unable to download from anywhere. Thanks in advance, Stuti
  11. Great suggestion Alex. I cannot download any of the attached documents. Would it be possible for anyone to please send it to me (stut03@yahoo.com). Thanks, Stuti
  12. Thanks Catalina. I am having 10th edition, do you suggest me to get 11th edition and companion math and verbal books as well. Also for getting a solid base and practice, do you suggest any specific work book I should refer to. Thanks for the help. Stuti
  13. Hi All, I am planning for the GMAT in another 2.5 months and started it seriously devoting time. I need a valuable suggestion from GMAT gurus. I am having Kaplan 2006 Premier Program book with CD. I am also planning to buy Kaplan GMAT 800 once prep takes some good shape. I am thinking to buy a Verbal and a Math workbook. I am more concerned about Verbal as I am out of touch from it for many years and is not very confident about the Grammar and Vocub (also I am not a native English speaker). Math is also somewhat rusty, but I think still it might be manageable with practice. Among various books available in the market some people suggest about Kaplan workbooks and some about Princeton. I am not mentioning the rest. It'd be great help for me if you could suggest about the best Verbal and Math workbook which I should buy for my preparation. I saw Erin's sticky, but still posting this thinking that if there is any updated comment from experts about latest versions can guide me further as I am really not understanding which one would be best buy and looking for suggestions. Any additional suggestion about any good word and grammar book would also be very helpful. Thanks, Stuti
  14. Congrats TwinnSplitter !!! I just started preparing for the GMAT and got a lot of valuable info from this post. It's inspirational too. I wish if I could access the links as mentioned in the study plans and resources. I am sure Erin must be looking into this after the latest upgrades. The way TwinnSplitter has detailed the sequence is extremely useful for getting a direction. Thanks, Stuti
  15. Hi All, I have got a question regarding Keplan and Priceton review books. I am planning to buy the latest version of the books (with CD) sometime soon. I've got old versions now. I heard that the 2006 version of the material gets published sometime in 2005 only. So if someone has any idea approximately when the 2006 materials get published, it will be very helpful for me. If it's sometime soon, I may plan for so. I am sorry if some discussion is already in place for the same info. I could not find the topic though. Thanks, Stuti
  16. Yes, I also could not locate any file. Just wondering if is there any special privilege required.
  17. Friends, I don't have anything which might be useful for you and can share. However if possile, if you could share the materials with me it'll be extremely helpful for me. My mail id is stut03@yahoo.com.
  18. As it looks like, these materials are very good. Is there any way I can get these or provide me some info. I am located in TX.
