  1. In NewYork state also we can write NAPLEX before internship.
  2. I got the result on 15th day after my exam.
  3. Thank you Vindra & dobido. I studied very thoroughly Hypertension,Hyperlipidemia,Diabetics,CNS,Asthma chapters with trade names, dosage forms and doses. I studied HIV chapter also very clearly but I got only 1 simple brand name question. Anemia chapter and Herbals are also very important. In herbals,I studied only the uses and drug interactions, and in the exam that only asked. I studied from APHA book, made a timetable and started from Hypertension chapter. On my first two readings I was not confident but when I read at the third and final time,I felt okay by God's grace.Again I am telling it varies from person to person. It is possible that we can pass this exam.Hope this helps.Good Luck.
  4. Mistgirl, You can buy it from Amazon.com or from APhA.net.I checked it now and it is availiable in both these sites. NAPLEX08. Thank you and Good Luck
  5. Thank you Susan. Thank you Yamini and Pharmalady.Thank you for understanding and I am happy that some of you had benefited from my thread. That's all I need. This is my 5th year in USA and still I didnot get a sponsorship to work even with FPGEC Certificate and was willing to go anywhere.Anyway hoping that in its right time we will get the best.
  6. The APhA(American Pharmacists Association) Complete Review For Pharmacy.
  7. pharmalady and monaellakany, I send you both PM. Please check it.
  8. Dear friend, I am not telling that I am great and it is not meant for someone like you who had internship but my only purpose is to encourage those like me without any exposure to the pharmacy.First when I started studying I found it very difficult to remember the brand names and dosage and you cannot say that ''NAPLEX has nothing to do with internship''.Anyway I hope atleast any 1 person who is reading this thread can get a feeling that ''I can do it",that's all I meant and this forum helped me alot for my preparation and my God's grace. I know that internship is needed to get licensed.Anyway I am not going to respond any more.
  9. Today I got the ATT from Pearson VUE.
  10. monaellakany, I memorised the trade names but the doses didnot, except the diabetics, heart chapters and asthma. In statistics I studied only mean, median, mode and p-value but thay asked something else. I studied for 2 months seriously but it depends from person to person. Hope I answered your questions.Good Luck.
  11. I studied APHA Complete Review Of Pharmacy,4th edition.Author- **** R.Gourley and James C.Eoff.The ISBN#0-9723076-8-0.It is an orange colour book. You can find it in APhA website or in amazon.com.Hope this helps.
  12. Hi friends, I passed Naplex by God's grace and help from this forum.Thank you for all who had given their inputs.I donot have any internship experience,I studied only the APHA book and revised it 2 times, didnot spend much time to study that top 200 drugs but while I was studying any particular chapter I studied almost all the brand vs generic name.I had questions from statistics ,reference books, calculations and almost everything from APHA book.So I just want to tell that, even if you donot have internship like me,you can pass.Hope this helps to someone like me.
  13. Hi, All the best wishes.
