  1. Hi all.. I have a strange and dumb question. I have registered for Toefl iBT. When I log in to my iBT profile, I could not find the address of my test center. Am I missing something? where can I find my Test center's address. I have registered for India, Hyderabad. I don't where in Hyderabad. Please help me. Thanks, Priyank

  4. While pre-apping I am mailing some PhD students seeking suggestions... But i think it will be more useful if i mail some current MS students. generally no school is providing current MS students contact details.. can some one suggest me a way for finding grad students mail ids in grad schools...
  5. hi.. I agree with cridamour.. If two students are applying even with same projects.. definitely one with higher credentials will be prefered... So it is better to form a group in ur class who are apping for grad schools and better come to some understanding.. as no one will apply all top univ. In many colleges they follow this procedure.. Good luck for ur admission dude....
  6. hi.. anything above 1400 is good score in GRE. But take care that u have a min. of 760 in quant.. if u are an engineering student.. good luck for ur GRE..
  7. Hello friend s... Pls evaluate my chances for my following profile.. :( Branch: Computer Science and Engineering. GPA 8.7/10.0 did all 'A's in core computer science courses GRE 1410/1600 AWA: 3.5 (Q-800, V-610) Toefl: 280/30 AGRE: (in CS) on nov 12th.. hoping some good percentile... Area of interest: Operating Systems.. ( parallel operating systems) Corresponding Research Work: Currently writing an operating system so as to facilitate parallel processing on a non parallel processor.. ( working under my lecturer. this is my dept.'s consulting project.) Class Position: Branch Second. My current undergrad college profile.. National Institute of Technology Warangal.. Ranked 7th in India Other Achievements.. Got college merit scholarship Got placed in Microsoft as SDE ( only 6 from our campus are placed).. I have good recos, one from an assistant prof. and string recos from two profs and my project guide. I am planning for MS for fall-2006. What chances are there for me in getting in following univ.s.   8. Hi friends.. My GRE score is 1410/1600 V610(86%) Q800(92%) Awa 3.3(16%) My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. My GPA is 8.7/10 in absolute scale. Cllss rank is 3rd out of 72 students. I have a really good reco from an assistant prof. and nice recos from HOD and another prof. I am from NIT Warangal (former REC) ranked 7th in India. No publications. I am also giving AGRE in Computer Science. I got all top grades in core computer science subjects. I am from NIT Warangal (former REC) ranked 7th in India I am class 3rd with 8.7 on absolute scale in Computer Science Dept. out of 72 No publications. I am planning for MS in 2006 fall in computer sciences..... To what extent will my BAD AWA score affect my admission... will there be any cut off of AWA score for universities.... Do i have any chance of getting top 20 universities in CS dept... Please help me friends.. I am really worried about my AWA score.. urs priyank

  11. hello frnds.. my GRE score is 1410 with q800 and v610 my gpa is 8.67 on absolute grading scale.. I am from NIT Warangal rated 7th in India as per nascom dataquest 2005 ratings. my branch is computer sceince and engineering. with almost all As in all my core computer science courses do i have any chance of gettin through top 15 universitis. please help me frnds.
  12. hello frnds.. just finished my GRE. verbal score is 610 and quant score is 800. I thought i did well during the first part of the exam. But unfortunately i got two 80 line passages in last ten minutes ultimately ruining my score. I am doing my undergraduate degree from NIT Warangal with my CGPA of 8.67/10 with around 8th of my class. I am planning to do MS in computer science. Do i have any possibility of getting good univ. i mean in top 15. please guide me friends. lots of thanks for all those members who most actively posted all the material they had,. lots of thanks once more.....
  13. hi psgreexpert... i am being frank here.. in the example u have given... 256+487+678 267+488+679 observe that all three numbers in column B are greater than those in column A . answer is simply B. it just took 5 seconds for me.. why i am telling u this is that ur feedback doesnt seem credulous enough as u cited that problem took 10 minutes for u.
