  1. hi go to http://www.eckerd.com they have list of all regional recruiters list. call them leave message, fax them your resume and also send it with email attachement. i am sure you will get answer. goodluck
  2. hi i am sorry. i don't have any idea about their requirement for h1b no harm trying to ask recruitor bye goodluck
  3. hi you have to do internship somewhere to becoame a pharmacist. Good thing about maryland is you can submitt hours you worked before naplex or fpgee. they require 1560 hours. even if you transfer your score to maryland you have to show them that you worked in pharmacy for 1560 hours. you have to requrest score transer before you take naplex, i think atleast week before your exam date. you can transer you score afterward but they charge more money i guess.
  4. hi For NJ-MPJE the two books from board of pharmacy is enough. i also read federal law book from reisse. concentrate on control susbstace act, licensing requirement, record keeping, central fill pharmacy, hostpital regulation and physicial- pharmacist agreement in treatment program. try to read newsletters of nj borad of pharmacy. you can get it on http://www.nabp.net For texas you have to submitt copy of your Fpgee certificate , so it is required to have 50 before you can take naplex. i did work in the pharmacy before i took naplex and it help but it doesn't mean you cann't pass it without training. you haven't worked in the pharmacy, that's fine. try to remember all common brand and generic names and in how many dosage form and strengh they are available for perticular drug. otherwise there is no help from training in pharmacy. Calculation is very very important. if you do more than 90% calculation right i bet you cann't fail naplex. goodluck guys
  5. hi i took Naplex from texas because they do not require internship hours to take it so you save some time on it. otherwise NJ takes a while to send you approval, as i said before they are slower than rest of world. i just got my result of MPJE and i have cleared with 83 score, never dreamed of it. Exam was tough but there are some topics you need more concentration also tried to read nj news letters that helps. bye goodluck
  6. hi i took naplex from state board of texas, it took about three weeks to get my results. i thinks it might be same for NJ board as well. they may take one week extra as they are slower than other board of pharmacy. hi try this link for nj board of pharmacy www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/medical/pharmacy.htm to be honest their website is sucks. they dont have any information. i did contact board for all information.
  7. hi guys i took nj- mpje yesterday and it was complete nightmare. They ask questions which you cant even think. questions from hospitals and compunding were very difficult. i am not sure whether i will pass it or not. Anybody who took it before have any suggesion about it? is there any material which would help for preparation?

    Mpje

hi In new jersey you require to finish1000 hours before you take naplex or Mpje. They don't cut any hours even if you have above 90 because i got 100 in fpgee but they didn't cut mine. you know what worth trying. bye

    Mpje

hi guys my wife took mpje for new jersey, and she passed it with only two days preparation. she said it was not hard. you need to choose best answer with common sense. I am going to take it next month. try to know everything about C2 drug. goodluck
  10. hi i don't think CPR is enough for preparation. i must say it is the main source for naplex. you required to do more question base preparation, which will halp a lot. calculation require practice so spend atleast an hour a day for calculation for last 15 days. manan shroff's book is very good additional material to prepare. ( beware: some information is wrong in book)
  11. hi i came back on 3rd. give me a call bye hi you don't really need to do all kinetics calculations. the only thing they ask is first order reactions. i didn't even got single calculation from kinetics. so you better spent time in more important parts. you don't have to do medical chemestry. please read chapter 17 in leon shargel ( which is on metabolism and enzyme inducers and inhibitors) creatinine clearence equation is also very important they will ask calculation from that ( in case of female multiply final answer by 0.85) in calculation be careful with units ( very very important) goodluck guys
  12. hi amee i think you should try everywhere to get sponsorship. call nittal and hitesh for more information.

    H4 to H1B???

hi i am on h4 visa and i got h1b approved this year. i don't think we have to go back to our home counry to stam the visa. we can go to canada or any other country. please keep in mind rules change very often. my wife went to canada to get her visa stamed. i have couple of friend, they had to go to home country for stamping. recently i heard of someone who got visa stamped from canada. so it is better to get precise information at the time we want the visa stamped.
  14. hi, i took naplex in july and got 95 in it. i think calculation is the key to pass new naplex. i belive i did almost all calculation right. they are very simple if you follow basic principals. they ask all different kind of calculations. Books i read include CPR from leon shargel, kaplan class notes, manan shroff's book and appelton & lange review of pharmacy. calculation is explained very well in kaplan class notes. calculation in cpr is harder than they ask in exam. every chapter in pharmacology is important because i have been asked questions from all the chapters. questions from antibiotics i found very hard, because they ask treatment for specific organism. i got questions on few drugs, which i never heard. not all Brand name is required to remember. top 200 in cpr and list of brand name in A & L is enough. if you have time and want to read OTC throughly then read MOSBY's OTC drug ISBN 081518395x. i also took pre-naplex a week before of my exam and i got 90 in that. Questions in actual naplex is very simillar to one in pre-naplex. total parentral nutrition is also a important chapter. i was scared of new naplex before i took it but belive me it is not that hard. you need about 20-30 days to prepare well ( time for individual may vary). it is far easier than FPGEE. goodluck to all who is going to take naplex
  15. hi please tell me in detail which kind of time management you really need.
