740...I was hoping for 750+ but did a stupid error on the second quant question and took too much time in the middle... in the end had 6 mins for 10 questions. Verbal was fine, I would say the trickies were the SC questions, followed by CR and RC. Issue was about corporations adapting to environmental effect, while argument was a bout the city of Helios. I'll try to post more info tomorrow or on Wednesday!

IMO A: prepare for X by Y correct use of "as" "as part" is referred to eating pasta, not to competing and thus should be attached to it. Please provide OA

It is on Monday! Going over OG11 SC and RC, my weakest areas... I got both Manhattan GMAT books, but honestly the RC book wasn't that helpful... 100 pages for just 1 concept (writing a summary). What do you think, should I go over more math problems? Or should I focus on verbal? Thanks a lot :)

I took GMAT in 2005, scoring 710. Since then, my fluency has improved and I started working in UK, thus I decided to give another shot and I registered again. I'm quite surprised since I downloaded the GMAT Prep and obtained 770 in the first practice test. Is this real/reflective of the real test? I remember that the software was different in 2005, it was called PowerPrep. Thanks

Age: 24 Nationality: Italian Education: MSc Finance from a top European (Italian) university, top percentile Work experience: 1 year, quantitative risk management in a global investment bank, London office (plus internship in the same bank and a research assistant role in my university) Extra curricular: Volunteering: 1) mentor for high school students willing to pursue a career in business/finance (UK), 2) research of blood donors across universities (Italy), 3) helping primary school children to develop their learning/math skills Also passed the 3 exams of the CFA Program. GMAT: 710 (tried just once) In particular I would like to know if I have any chance for the INSEAD MBA... Thanks
