really worried now guys...have any one of you heard anything from stanfi......yet another person has posted a message saying he's in.....this waiting is the toughest thing i've ever done...mau b it won't be as tough to even go thru yur MS/PhD

I have been worried on this account too...but it stands to reason that there wouldnt be just 2 or 3 admits there ought to be more...may be stanford has just started relasing its decisions (we didnt hear abt any admits till feb end anyway)...and we'll get ours in due time...........hopefully that is .....and it will be an admit

OK.... I wanna do my MS in EE/CS i've completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Commn. from Guru Nanak Engg College affiliated to JNTU with 68.86% (class highest being 74.5%)....my GRE is 1440 with V: 650 Q:790, AWA: 4.5, Toefl: 293/300....i've completed 2 projects...one in UART design using VHDL and the other in protocol implementation...i've no papers...i plan to do a diploma in embedded system design..... i need help in selecting univs.....whetehr i could apply to the top 20 or should i apply below 20.........also would like to know whetehr giving a CS subj test would b useful

hi guys.. i am smitha.... i've already given GRE and TOEFL.. my score in GRE is 1440(650 in verbal and 790 in quant + 4.5 in writing) and my TOEFL score is 293.. i've completed my BTech from Guru Nanak Engg College affiliated to JNTU , Hyderabad with an overall 68.86%.. (my class highest being 75%) i have no publications to my name.. i do have a some projects in vlsi design from ASL,DRDO and protocol development and am planning to do a PG diploma in embedded sys. design can someone plz tell me the chances of getting in to the top 20 universities for an MS in EE/CS.. or should i target below.. what if i give the subject test in CS.. how much will that help? :confused:
