vulcan
I'm heading over to London for LSE's general course in the fall, and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of how useful it is in terms of Econ PHD admissions? I plan to take some math(Real Analysis, Optimization Theory, Prob/Stats), the hard metrics course, and some other Econ/Finance type class. Any specific extra-curricular activities worth getting into while I'm there? How likely is it that I will be able to get a useful recommendation letter? Thanks!
