cicada1981
To develop more accurate population forecasts, demographers have to know a great deal more than now about the social and economic determinants of fertility. A. have to know a great deal more than now about the social and economic B. have to know a great deal more than they do now about the social and economical C. would have to know a great deal more than they do now about the social and economical D. would have to know a great deal more than they do now about the social and economic E. would have to know a great deal more than now about the social and economical OA is E. Why not B?
Shooter
I see D as more appropriate. 'economic' fits in the situation. 'economical' means 'saving'. Hence eliminate B,C,E. Among A and D. D looks good. 'have to know more than now' 'have to know more than they do now'. ( this looks more accurate).
aseemrules
Agree with Shooter. I also chose D
