Which word can best replace "spoken for"?

the Ans is D

"be spoken for" is an idiom which means reserved or taken

is it just me, or instead of "mojor" is "major" and "indead" is "indeed"..because I have no idea if those words exist. If they do, can someone tell me what they mean?

D- spoken for would mean stated in favor of hence,"claimed" D is the answer.
