VO may not check the letter of experince. but see that just in case he makes a fone call, there is someone at the other end to give a positive answer on the number given on the firms letterhead.

It was a mistake to show just the exact amount of funds as shown on I20. One thing is ambiguous from your post. Does I20 include family expenses ?It seems otherwise to me. I20 will include family expenses only if there is an I20 for each one of family member intending to go with student. And then the principal applicants I20 will (should) reflect correct estimated expenses for family.

see what conts apart form a strong fin resourses proof - admit to a good university. was ur university good enough to convince the consul ? just a guess. and dont loose heart you can app fir as many times as you wish....just scract you head to find poss reasons for the reject....

on the contrary, marriage is a solid reason for a VISA being granted. this whole boyfrnd /girlfrnd stuff has no locus standi once you have commited the prior mistake. remember that consul will see all the previous record at the time of interview. so get married and provide a marriage certificate or show an intent to marry by registering with US authrities for a registered marriage. no no....... consul wont ask abt ur honeymoon plans..... if you say "we've married" then he will start ROFL if you dont provide the proof for that" how old are you ? ..... @ NJIT ..a "curious avtaar" you have..............

just tell the truth. it WONT affect your chances at all. F1 VISa criteria is based upon you university and your finances.has no bearing on experince. infact 99% of F1 applicant have NO exp at all !!

@ meda, i concur with the consul. you presented a very weak case. sponsor should logically explain why she/he is paying for you. you should have either shown him as in relationship or as a money lender to you. are you taking a next try at VISA again ?
