hi everyone! in my last visa interview my visas wasn't denied but the officer consulate gave me a paper(221G)asking me other documents.is that mean that i'll surely get the visas the next time or it still in doubt?

Also, what were you asked, and how did you answer? there are the questions that the officer asked me : 1-why do you wanna go to the states. 2-why did u choose this university. 3-why did u choose this major. 4 what are u doing now....what's your toefl score. 5 why didn't u choose a university in ur home country.6-who's going to sponsor u.7 what he's doing.. do u have any siblings in the US ( my brother permanent). 8- what is he doing... my mother has a turist visas, and my brother is a legal permanent in the US. but while the interview i was a little bit nervous, i didnt answer the question clearly and i didnt convince the councelor with my reasons... ps: my financial resources are enough i think ( 34.413$ from my sponsor (mother)) and i didnt show them my personnal account ( about 16.000$) should i do it the next time?

hello guys...my visas was denied last week and i don't know the reason at all....i rovided with all the documents...but i'm still have some questions in my head...maybe because my brother lives in the US? (but he's living in colorado and i applied for murray state university...or maybe because my mother is visiting my brother right now....maybe the consulat thought that i'm going to immigrate? and in fact my mother has the habbit of spending her vacacion in the US? that's turning my head down...what should i do? plz guys help me...thanks!

i've just passed my toefl test on 10 march, the topic was : ( People have different ways of escaping the stress and difficulties in modern life. Some read; some exercise; some work in their gardens. What do you think are the best ways to reduce stress. Use specific examples and details....) i really don't know if i answered to the question correctly, my awswer was : "....the best ways for reducing stress are going to the country, doing some exercice, and working on the computer..." and i gave some details and examples to support this! did i do the right stuff? and what was your answer guys?

i passed my test on 10 march too, nd i chose the answer D.;)

your essay is pretty nice, but actually you have to be careful in answering the question...and you have to choose one side. This type of question asks you to look at only ONE side of the issue (which do you think is better...)the side you agree with. DON’T write about both sides. You tell which side you agree with and support your ideas with details and examples. You should only tell a little bit about the other side for exp "some people might disagree by saying that "the other side" is better....; however, the side (that you agree with) is greater and more advantageous." the purpose here is to support your statement and make it stronger.

Topic : some people think that the automobilehas improved modern life. Others think that the automobile has caused serious problems. What is your opinion? use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. The automobile has improved modern life because it is usefull for people to keep in touch and to save time. It works also basically for our economy, and it afford us to do many activities. Some people might disagree by saying that the automobile has caused serious problems such as accidents and air pollution; however, the advantage of the automobile is greater and more practical. First, the automobile reduces the distance between people. Everybody can use it to visit his family or friends and even those who live in rural areas. In addition, people who own a car are able to get to their job at no time, so they can focus confortably on their tasks and work productively. Second, as an efficient model of transportation, the automobile helps our economy to increase. For example, there are some firms that use the automobile to send their products to far places, others use it to distribute their supplies to many customers in different areas. So our economy benifits from the automobile in many ways. Third, people drive to get far away from the city and its stressful life to do several activities. There are some people who prefer to spend their free time on fishing, others prefer to go to the mountainds and so on. So it is nearly impossible to do your hobbies if you do not own a car. Therefore, the automobile is the greatest thing that has improved modern life in a long way. And without it, our life would be harder and boring.
