vishalchaudhury
One should be responsible for one's own actions or One should be responsible for his own actions I am a bit confused here. I have searched the internet and have found that both are acceptable in American and Britich English, though one's is more formal. BUt what does GMAT say? ragz_82
Even I am not sure, but certainly this is not wrong: One should be responsible for his/her own actions.
chilledlife
I think 'one should be responsible for one's own actions' - correct. 'one should be responsible for his own actions' - incorrect. the correct sentence should read 'one should be responsible for his or her own actions'.
