  1. I'm trying to find the best books for the GMAT preparation so I'm in the same position than you, Raghuveer. One comment there are 2 new books from Kaplan and Princeton (2003 version) both have been published during this month. Any idea about differences between 2003 and 2002 versions? Regards Lorenzo
  2. Again thanks a lot to your help. My score: Listening: 27 Structure/writing:28 Reading: 27 Essay rating: 5.5 Total score:273. I'm very happy :D and I didn't expect the essay score. One advise, if you are not good are writing (that's my case), buy the book How to prepare for the Computer-Based Toefl essay. Probably without the book my essay score would be 3. Now I have to start studying for the GMAT. Are the essays comparable between GMAT and TOEFL. Can I prepare them in the same way? Best regards Lorenzo PS. Keep working for the site, it's the best I found on Internet (and I've searched a lot!!!) Regards Lorenzo

    ETS books

Hi, I've bought the books TOEFL Test Preparation Kit (Book & CD-ROM) and TOEFL Practice Tests: Volume 2 both from ETS, the first thing I've found is that is not CBT oriented therefore they are not a real preparation for the toefl exam. My question is, Are the questions at the same level of difficulty I will see on the real TOEFL test? Can I trust the scores I'm getting in the ETS tests? Erin I saw your comments on Amazon and it helps me but still need a confirmation regarding the marks. Lorenzo Regards Lorenzo
  4. Many thanks for the clear (and scenical) answer. One last question, you said "BTW, TOEFL does NOT NOT NOT NOT test the difference between who and whom." Meaning that there is not going to be any question where the wrong word is who/whom when it should be whom/who. Am I right? I even don't know if I make myself understandable. Lorenzo Regards Lorenzo
  5. Well, Sorry for the joke ?? My question is simple and probably has been already answered. Which is the correct usage of the words who/whom? I can not figure out. Many thanks for this website. Lorenzo Regards Lorenzo
  6. Hi all, I want to prepare myself for the GMAT but I don't want to send the score to any school. Is it possible to do it? Regards Lorenzo
  7. Hi Erin, Did you receive any answer from ETS? It would be good if you could follow up this issue (and others with an end-less point) ? Regards Lorenzo
