I gave my GRE on Nov 30 and scored 1330 with verbal-590 and quant-740.Im expecting AWA score to be around 3-3.5.My TOEFL score is 247.I have a good Academic record also.I would like to know the universities to which my scores are suited and where there is a possibility for financial aid. I have been working for the past 4 months as a software engineer in an organisation.Would this count for getting a good university & scholarship. One more thing :I skipped the experimental section(dummy section) which appeared after the test.In fact,i have not read the instructions also properly.So,will there be any effect of this dummy section on my scores.

Does the dummy section still exists in the GRE [ CBT ] test . I am from India n i need to know about the test , like the test pattern n if there is any particular section with which the test starts and anything more from your part would a good to know. Also guys let me know which book to use Barrons or Kaplan. Thanks.

HI Friends; I am going to appear for GRE on 5 Dec in India[hyd]. I had my TOEFL on 8th Nov and i got a score range of 203-257 . I am expecting 250 in TOEFL. I just want to know that what minimum score do i need in GRE to get admission in any good universities for MS in Computer Science. I completed my Bachelors in Engg [Electronics and Communication] and hav a not so good percentage[67%]. But my schooling records are fine [ 10+2--91.8% : 10 -- 75% ]. I did a project on ROBOTICS in the final year and a month training in ECIL-Hyd [ Electronics Corporation Of India Ltd] on Wireless in Local Loop[WLL]. As i haven't prepared well for GRE and only few days are left for the exam i need to know that what minimum score should i get in GRE. I sent the TOEFL scores to these universities: 1:University Of Florida -Gainesville 2:University Of North Florida 3:George Mason University : Fairfax,Virgina 4:North Carolina State University : Raleigh, NC Can u guys help me by telling some good universities in which i can get admission [Fall 2006] for MS in CS. Hi MaxGREn Manwiththemission2005> Thanks for ur replies. My topic for the essay was " What would u prefer, attending a live performance or enjoying that event on Television." I wrote in support of watching the event on television rather than attending it. My supporting points were: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. At a live performance we have much greater freedom n and free surrounding. Whereas on TV bu contrast, we see fewer images which are the most important parts of the event. So we are more concentrated while we are watching the event on TV than attending it. 2. On watching the event on TV we are also fed with the deatils about the artists performance, his life style, his likes and dislikes by the anchor which seem to be interesting to the viewers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Also I also wrote that we can enjoy the event by watching it on TV with the entire family. Whereas it is difficult to take the entire family to attend the live performance. I organised the essay quite well and had 2 mins left to review it. So I am expecting a good score. So please tell me what score would i get if i score well in the writing section. I did something ridiculous after the completion of the exam. When the score range displayed i didn't bother about the sectionwise score and proceeded and selected the 4 univs. now i don't know my sectionwise scores and I have to wait sor 1 month to know it. :) Hi guys! I just completed the TOEFL[CBT] on 8th Nov and I got a score range of 203-257. I did pretty well in the writing section as I got a familiar topic. I read that essay in a book[Lingua] so i didn't had much trouble doing that. So plzz guys can u tell the probable score i would get. And Can anyone let me know about the universities , which accept such scores. Thanks In advance

:hmm: i think that the converstion is all about joining a club or a commitee, and the woman says " if i were u , i'll go to the dean's office" here she is giving a sugesstion to the man ; And the man says he was going to the library but he thinks he can do that later SO as far as my thinking goes i feel that He would go to the dean's office first and then to the library.
