Please advise me, which sources should I study to pass this exam at the first attempt?
  6. Thank you. I took the exam on November 28 and the result was out on NABP's website on December 1st. Check the NAPLEX bulletin to find out if your state offers online score or mailed one. Good luck!:encouragement:

    Calculator !

It's clearly mentioned in the Naplex registration bulletin (www.nabp.net): "An on-screen calculator can be activated during the examination for your use. You may also request a hand-held calculator from the testing center administrator at any time. The administrator will provide you with an erasable note board and pen, which may be replaced as needed during testing. You may not remove the note boards or pens from the testing room at any time. You will not be allowed to take your own scratch paper or pencil into the testing room." During my last week's Naplex exam, it was exactly in the same way as mentioned above.
  8. Thanks Anna, I think it's a very useful book and it's better to study all chapters. As I mentioned before, my exam questions were from all chapters. ( Most probably you know that : math, diabetes, HTN, HF, dyslipidemia, Hypo/hyperthyroidism, Parkinson, Alzheimer, depression, psychoses, ADHD, osteoporosis, RA, CVD, ID, COPD, asthma, pain and controlled drugs are the core of the test.) Hope it helps!
  9. Thank you Spg2005! The exam was neither easy like a Micky Mouse course nor hard like a Bear course. It was quite fair. If you feel comfortable with all information in Rxprep book, try some Q&A to find out your weak points and improve them before the exam. Study the whole Rxprep book and don't skip any chapter. In my exam, there were questions from everywhere, a lot of fill in the blank math questions, complicated statistic questions (not like the easy ones in Rxprep). The most important thing is: be confident and calm during your study and exam. Good luck!
  10. I'm a mom of a two year old son, so you can imagine I rarely could have free time to study. Anyway, I read Rxprep 2011 book once (I admit that I have a very good memory) and then used "Lange Q&A: Pharmacy" , and finally those 120 math questions. The last 2 weeks I reviewed those references. Despite graduating from school 15 years ago and having a busy life, those books helped me to pass Naplex in the first attempt. I wish luck to all who take Naplex!:)
  11. Is green card acceptable as a secondary ID for taking NAPLEX at Pearson test centers?:shy:
  12. Does anyone know how can I get the University of Maryland's notes for MPJE? Thanks in advance.:)

  14. To those who have already taken NAPLEX: please comment Should we know the followings by heart or they will provide us the info during the test: 1)Opioid dose conversions (parenteral to oral ratio)? 2)Oral Corticosteroids dose equivalent?
  15. A- Should we know the followings by heart: 1)Opioid dose conversions (parenteral to oral ratio)? 2)Oral Corticosteroids dose equivalent? B- Can beta blockers enhance the effects of insulin and oral hypoglycemics? How? C-What does "AKA" stands for? (pages 112 and 603 RxPrep 2011) Thanks in advance!:grad:
  16. Hi Guys! How long after sending your documents to Maryland Board of Pharmacy, they did respond you? Thanks in advance!

  18. Thank you. Wish you luck for the next test!:grad:
  19. Dear Toefl11, The first time that I took the test was three years ago with a score of 23 in speaking. Then I took the test several times and my score was 23-24. I stopped taking the test for two years (after giving birth to my son). This year I decided to give it another try and my friend recommended Joseph's classes so I started studying with Notefull (12 weeks with tutorial and review product) for 4 months (I'm a busy mom with a toddler so I didn't have that much time to study every day and finish the tasks in 12 weeks). After that the first time that I took the test I got 26 in speaking. His instructions are clear, effective and easy to follow, however for getting your score, you need to practice and perform the tasks exactly the way he recommends you. Hope this will help you and wish you luck and success.:grad:
  20. Dear Friends, After taking the test more than ten times, finally I got 26 in speaking!!! I tried on my own and also online tutors. Nothing helped me. However, with Joseph's help I did it! I strongly recommend his website "Notefull" to all test takers who desire to achieve the magic 26 speaking score fast. The good thing is that he has free youtube videos and free online classes once a month.
