Hi guys i am doing my internship since almost 3 months. I also hard time because of the technicians. The techs at my store alwasys wants to gossip and bit**h about other. I had little hard time learning data entry because they didnt gave me enough time to learn but i slowly picked the speed. All the pharmacists are really nice to me. Once i also talked to my pdm about this and he said he will take care of this. Now things r going little smooth. My observation from the internship is speak for ur self and also be diplomatic and loud. Talk to ur PDM if u r having hard time. Always keep in mind that u r a pharmacist and show it to other with ur knowledge and ability. Good luck and be patient

Hi guys Hope you all are waiting for some news. Today i got e mail from the attorney that my case has been selected. My case was general and non premium. I have applies through Rite Aid pharmacy. Although i have masters from here but my case was filed under general quota so all the time i was wondering why i have to go through this lottery if i have masters. Till today i was waiting for some news, acceptance or rejection and i had already made other plans if i was not accepted in the lottery. Guys all i know is that if god think that this the right time for us to get the fruit of the work we have done we will get it. If in case we dont get the answer at this moment , it means god wants us to be stronger and will give us something better. So dont loose hope everybody will get the good news sooner or later. On 4/10/07, Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced the Securing Knowledge, Innovation and Leadership (SKIL) Act of 2007 (S. 1083). Although the bill text is not yet available, the act is expected to propose reforms to address the restrictive H-1B visa cap and alleviate the employment-based green card backlogs. Senator Cornyn authored the bill; original cosponsors include Senators Allard (R-CO), Bennett (R-UT), Hutchison (R-TX), and Lott (R-MS). In addition to the SKIL Act, on 4/11/07, Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) introduced legislation to temporarily increase the number of visas issued to highly skilled workers. Unlike the broader provisions of the SKIL Act, this bill, S. 1092, is expected to focus more narrowly on providing immediate relief from the current H-1B crisis.

Hi guys the latest news from USICS ig good one, I hope my case would have been applied under masters cap. I read in one of the forum that if u have masters from US u will be considered in the masaters cap irrespective of ur field of study. My attorney said that my masters(MBA) was not related to the pharmacy:rolleyes: thats why mine was applied under general cap. I am not sure about this... Any information about this...

This is a good link about the raise in the H-1, I guess this wil work in the FY2009. Hope some thing happens and this works for this time also

Hi Kingtut i think premium processing is only to make the process fast and it doesnt affects the chances of getting the visa or not. Premium processing also charge 1000 bucks extra.
