Senate CIR Delayed Again to Next Week Report indicates that the Senate has decided to delay the CIR debate at the request of Senator Kennedy and the Republican negotiators. Reportedly, the chance of reaching a compromise bill is 80:20 by Republicans accepting the legalization of illegan aliens. The 20% includes the overhaul of the legal immigration system adopting the point system.

They again postponed the hearing until next week.

Hi Knok and others I'm really hopeful that they will increase H1b visas this year to provide opportunity to unlucky people like us. It appears from the scheme of things that if visas are not increased this year, employers will be definitely hesitant to file H1b visas in future (esp when it comes to lottery). So yes we all should play a part in this and try to post any relevant information you people have about this. Lets hope for the best Frenz

Ok...........I was the one who received a letter from Michigan Board that starting June 1, 2007 they will need FPGEC certificate in order to issue an intern or Pharmacist license. However, I'm not sure if people who complete there intern hours in Michigan are allowed to sit for NAPLEX?? But it looks like they are going to follow what other states have been following i.e. FPGEC requirement. Moreover its damn difficult to find a job in Michigan as it is completely saturated. I feel H1b situation should improve next year. So........ Good luck to all FPGEE takers Frenz

Hi Takku I'll suggest you to keep on giving this exam and someday you will get the desired result when you won't expect it. This exactly happened to me when I got 26 in one of the attempts where I was least hopeful. To me its shear luck. Good luck Frenz
