  1. bungholio, AFAIK, it may not be able to transfer all you credits from a part-time program to a full time program seamlessly. So, this may not be a very viable option.
  2. bungholio, it is not true that you can go from H1 -> F1 -> H1 and get another 6 years of fresh visa time. The 6 year timeframe is a cumulative of your stay. Even I had looked into the possibility of avoiding leaving the country for a year, but it is not possible. You can dig up more information from http://www.immigration.com. Going to the OPT question - I believe in 2002 or a little before that, they changed the policy that you can have a fresh year of OPT for every advanced degree you pursue (I know for a fact that a Masters and then a PHD qualified for 1 year of OPT each). Hope this helps.
  3. Even I'd go with E. Totally agree with safazal - best among the worst
  4. IMO, Plugging in simple examples would be a good way to approach the solution. Answer I got was D too.
  5. 1. t1 + t2 + ... + tn = 3124 2. (t1 + t2 + .... + tn)/n = 4 Solve for n. C.
  6. hasnathullah, 0/4 = 0, hence 0 is divisible by 4. So, answer is A.
  7. Whoa. Even I feel for the trap. Nice post. THanks.
  8. Angelrich, we are saying x = 2 not x = 0, coz x-2 would be 0 which is a multiple of 5 coz 5 * 0 = x. So, I'd pick E.
  9. In either of the statements, we dont know about whether s>0 or s
  10. 1. 3x = 2 or x = 2/3 hence [x] = 0 (sufficient) 2. [x] =0 (sufficient) Hence D.
  11. Question 1 has already been solved in this section. Look for it. Question 2: 450 * y = n^3 i.e 3^2 * 5^2 * 2 = n ^ 3 We know that y is an integer and n is also an integer. Hence, y would be equal to 3 * 5 * 2^2 to make it a perfect cube. Which is the answer you have. Question 3: Upstream: V-3 miles per hour Downstream : V+3 miles per hour Distance: 90 miles Hence, Time_Upstream = 90/(V-3) Time_Downstream = 90/(V+3) Now, it says that Time_Upstream = 1/2 + Time_Downstream i.e 90/(V-3) = 1/2 + 90/(V+3) Sovling, you get V = 33. Time_Downstream will then be equal to 90/(36) = 2.5
