  1. The Internship depends on the state. You will have to check with the state board. FOR EXAMPLE: In NC, you can do internship and then register those hours with the state. Their web page says, you can begin internship before you receive your fpgee certificate, but you must gain your experience in the US. In SC, you have to have your fpgee certificate, apply to the state for an internship certificate, then start your internship and register that you are doing an internship within 10 days of starting work. I don't know if you can apply to take the NAPLEX without your fpgee certificate in either state.
  2. They will automatically send it, but don't hesitate to call to check the status if it is taking too long. They lost my Toefl iBT score and after about my 3rd or 4th phone call, they finally found it and matched it with my file. Then it took about 6 weeks still to get the certificate. I could not start my internship until I got it.............stressful!
  3. South Carolina does not require internship before examination.
  4. 1. Morris Cody - purchased Nov. 2005 2. Manan Shroff - 1000 questions + 5 cds (150 questions each) send me a private email.
  5. You can start to look for a job. It is best to find out what the state requires, wherever you are going to work. If they will allow you to count your internship hours before you have your certificate or are registered as an intern. I don't know about visa.
  6. I have the same problem. I took the ibt test in October and had the results sent but NABP says they didn't receive them. I have an email in to ETS to resend the score. If I don't hear from them soon, I will have to pay the $ to get it sent again. UPDATE I decided to phone NABP again. This is the 3rd time I phoned and told them that I had the scores sent before I had an EE#. This time I got a very helpful man who found my scores for me and said they will enter them today. Try phoning NABP again, saiyana. Good Luck

    hi canpharm

I did not say how long I studied because I was embarassed that it was a lot. I studied 250 hours in 5 months. 200-250 hours is recommended by Morris Cody depending on how long ago you graduated. I took a lot of quizzes and I also had the 1000 questions and 5 cd's from Manan shroff. I got 70-75% on most of the quizzes by the time I was done studying (some I got 50-60%). Take the pre-fpgee, it helped me feel better about where I was at in my studying so I could relax and clear my head at exam time. MOST IMPORTANT, study smarter not harder. Be sure that you understand what you are reading and it will come back to you during the test. I forgot to add. I also had wilkipedia on my "favorites" and found a lot of good information there when I was trying to find answers to a specific question. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

    hi canpharm

Thank you for your congratulations and best of luck to the Dec 2006 test takers. I was very nervous about writing this exam since I graduated from University 17 years ago. First of all, this forum was a HUGE help. People here ask many difficult questions as they are going through their studying and I learned alot just trying to look for the answers. I studied Morris Cody from start to finish. At the same time I reviewed each topic in CPR. I do know people who passed with studying only CPR. I kept the following two links on my favorites and referred to them if I did not understand something as I was going through the texts. http://www.medlineplus.gov/ and http://www.medscape.com/pharmacists Finally, I took as many practice quizzes as I could, especially those on the Pharminfo web pages. I also took the pre-test to see how I was doing in my studying. I hope this was helpful. I will try to monitor and help out while I am studying for the NAPLEX and MPJE and help if I can as you have all helped me.;)
  12. Hi everyone, Congratulations to all who passed and to those who came so close. I am sooo excited. I phoned my husband and then my best friend and now I am posting to you. I got 133...........................................This is much more than I hoped for as I found the test very hard. I got 115 on the pre-test. I live in South Carolina.
  13. We all signed a confidentiality clause and cannot reproduce any questions from the exam.............sorry.
  14. Wow, I am amazed at the numbers. Thank you for your replies.
