Hi everybody! I've prepared for IELTS test for 4 weeks and am talking the test at the end of next month. On reading part I seem to do well on other question types (about 85% correct answer).:tup: However, I have a difficulty to do Yes/No/Not given questions. I'm really not sure how to pass those questions.:mad: Anyone can show me the way to conquer those ones?:idea: Thanks very much and have a nice day!

I've found that ETS charged my account 17$ on Jan 15. So, it take 18 days for ETS begin sending my TOEFL Additional Score Report that I request by Fax. And it'll take 10 business days for my university to receive it. In short, it take 18 days + 10 business days for university to receive TOEFL Additional Score Report that is requested by Fax. :) Do you know how to know whether ETS received your TOEFL Additional Score Report Request or not when sending request by Fax? How long does it take for university to receive score report? :yuck: ETS :yuck:

"TOEFL Help" sent me a message as follow: "Just fax your score report to 609-771-7772 and put it to ATTN TOEFL HELP and I will get it. Yes, I work at TOEFLhttp://www.www.urch.com/forums/../images/smilies/shuriken.gif Shhhhhhh" How can I know you are working at ETS? ? ?

You mean I send you my name and telephone number, and you will take care it for me. But I really don't know what you will do. Please explain it to me!

Hi everybody! I have request a TOEFL score report from ETS by Fax (in order to reduce fee of charge) on 29 Dec 2006. But now I haven't received any confirmation from ETS. Even I don't know if ETS receive my request (report from Fax mechine is "Transmission:OK). I also try to find out this by asking bank that if my account is charged by ETS! But my account still isn't charged (among of money in account is about 32USD) Do you know how to know if ETS received my TOEFL score report? Can you tell me the way to send TOEFL score report on time (my deadline is Feb 28; University in Sweden)? How long does it take from the date sending request to the date university receiving score report (by Fax/Phone)? Thank you in advance!

Hi everybody! Converting GPA into 4.0 scale system is one of necessary steps when we apply to graduate program in US. I searched in this forum for this conversion. But I didn't found converting into 4.0 from 10.0 scale systems! :( I would like to convert into 4.0 from 10.0 scale sysems. I also asked graduate school for this. They said that I do not need to worry about conversion. There are different ways and charts it all depends on many factors such as what your School and Country are, what is on transcripts... But we do not know those. :D I also sent them my transcripts by email but they did not receive it. If we know those we can calculate our GPA and change Graduate Program which we have enough conditions to be admitted before doing unnecessary things (charge for application fee, mail fee for sending transcripts, and many things like that!) :crazy: If you have free time and you know how to convert into 4.0 from 10.0 scale systems, can you calculate it for me? I attached my transcripts on this post? My GPA is 6.75/10. :) My undergraduate school is University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, my major is chemistry. Right now, a publication is so hard to me, because I have to study many subjects in physics and math. From your situation, I think it is better for me to study hard and get a good letter of recomendation than more time to research. Is it good? About book, I just read books at undergraduate level that I borrow from my friend. I don't know if it is good! Thanks very much for your advice. To be admited to Graduate Physics Program, I must have a strong background and publication in physics. Now, I have studied some courses in physics that are Introductory Physics I, II, III, IV (the first two years of Physics Undergraduate Program of Virginia University). I'm studying Electricity and Magnetism I. I write courses I've studied just to show clearly my situation, so you can help me. I also study Mathematics. Courses I've study are Single Variable Calculus, Multible Variable Calculus, Linear Algebra. I'm studying Differential Equation. In Vietnam, I do not have a chance to get any certificate in those courses. I just study by myself. So how can I demontrate that I've studied those courses? Is there test in US help me do that? The field in physics that I want to study is High Energy Physics. Do you know what problem I'll encounter when applying to this field? Now, I don't have any publication in Physics.

Hello Every Body!I have Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Chemistry in Vietnam. But I want to study a Physics Graduate Program. In my country, I must have Bachelor's degree in Physics to be admited to Physics Graduate Program. As I know, we also apply to Physics Graduate Program at some university without Bachelor's degree in Physics. But I don't how much chance I have to be admited to Physics Program. Any one who has been in this situation can help me?Now I teach some subjects in chemistry (Experiment Chemistry). And I'm also a Teaching Assistance in Informatic Applied to Chemistry at Vietnam National University. I'm also studying physics.
