Hi Cvan, I just gave my GMAT, but if u have asked...i gave GRE abt 3 years ago..though I did not score well in Verbal i scored 800 in quant. Hope that answers ur query.. :)

The correct idiom is 'position on' so we are left with 'B' and 'D'. 'B' is correct. -
in 'A' the metabolism of dinosaur is compared to mamals and reptiles and NOT to their metabolisms. 'C' looks ok to me. 'Those' is ok is we have metabolisms. the phrase should be "many species of dinosaurs"
