  1. I am at Business school. And yes i did the test a second time. My first score was 760 and I wanted t see if I could have made the 800, but just fell short.
  2. I have been receiving way too much e-mails concerning my notes and other documents used during my prep which led me to scoring a 780. Well I don't have those anymore, you will have to contact gmatunderground@gmail.com for the best collection of gmat prep files out there. Be prepared to pay though. I personally think it's worth the investment.
  3. Check gmatunderground@gmail.com for some excellent files. This guy helped me score a 780. Good Luck!
  4. Don't give up!!! Take the test again. Good Luck!!
  5. Hi GMATTERS: Persons have been contacting me for help with gmat related stuff and I keep telling everyone that i've been out of the GMAT game for a while and I don't have any of my old documents. The only person that i know who has good materials is Max from gmatunderground@gmail.com. He charges a fee for his stuff, but it is the best available out there. I want to say thanks to everyone over the years for being supportive. Clintonn (780 score)
  6. Hi guys: All is not lost. With the GMAT and MBA admissions you get lots of second chances. All you have to do is to retake the test. You have to access where your weaknesses and work on them!!! Make sure you are studying with HIGH Quality materials. Manhattan Gmat Materials are highly recommended, so is the stuff from gmatunderground@gmail.com. You will have to pay to get these documents, but they are worth it if you are going for your MBA. Great luck Guys, And hope I see some of you in B-school. I've applied to harvard and Stanford.
  7. Hey Buddy: Don't give up. You need to get some high quality documents to supplement what you already have and retake the test and slay the monster. You should consider a test prep company (manhattan or veritas).
  8. CONGRATS!!! Really was rooting for you. Today I received a PM from Erin and he said he was shutting down my thread because GMAC wrote him abut copyright violations. Well, I'm glad I had the opportunity to help so many. Good luck on those app.
  9. Hey Gmatboy: How about posting your explanations. From time to time I will confirm if your answers are correct.
  10. HEY Guys; This thread is for you to discuss and solve the questions for set 21.
  11. Hey Buddy: Don't loose hope. If you did the test and you only score 320 after three months of study, then you have definitely been focusing on the wrong materials. Like krismucs said, you have to get the basics down. People learn differently; some people can learn concepts just by reading a book while others are more visual and require an instructor or a classroom setting to succeed. I suggest you check out wingmat.com for a good foundation in Math and the Princeton Review book for Verbal Basics. After you have mastered the foundation, then you proceed to the OG and the GMATPREP ( http://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT/ToolsToHelpYouPrepare/GMATPrepProducts/FreeGMATPrepTestPreparationSoftwarein2006.htm ) software. After Gmatprep and OG, you should try to get your hands on the SETS. Still if you are not confident, you can take an online prep course: My recommended course is the http://gmat.grockit.com/
  12. HEY BUDDY: You did well!!! I know you will crack 700 next time. I really enjoyed your debrief, It will certainly help future test takers. Fro those of you who want to contact Max: gmatunderground@gmail.com
  13. Chris: I actually like New Zealand to win the World Cup.:D
  14. Not bad My good friend. Congrats!! and I hope you crack 700 if you decide on a second attempt. The GMAC is throwing long word problems, to suck up your time. Also, Stats is pretty common in quant.
  15. Hey Chris congrats buddy!! You nailed it man.
